Unlike traditional dermal fillers that add volume or contour to the face, SKINVIVE™ is formulated to intensely hydrate the skin from the inside out. It is the first and only FDA-approved hyaluronic acid (HA) microdroplet injectable in the U.S. specifically designed to improve skin smoothness and deeply hydrate the cheeks.

How Does It Work?

Hyaluronic acid is a naturally occurring, water-attracting molecule in your skin that decreases as we age and experience sun exposure. While topical hyaluronic acid serums sit on the surface, SKINVIVE™ works beneath it.

Using a specialized microdroplet injection technique, tiny amounts of modified hyaluronic acid are dispersed evenly across the superficial layers of your skin. Once injected, the HA binds to water, boosting your skin’s internal hydration and enhancing the function of Aquaporin-3 (a protein that transports water into skin cells).

This smooths out rough texture, minimizes the appearance of fine lines, and gives your skin a luminous, lit-from-within appearance without adding unwanted volume or looking "filled."

2. Treatment: 15–30 min.

Quick micro-injections across the cheeks. Lidocaine-infused for a comfortable experience.

3. Recovery: Minimal downtime.

Mild redness or bumps fade quickly. Avoid heavy workouts, saunas, and alcohol for 24 hours.

4. Results: Up to 6 months.

Frequently asked questions

Before Your Appointment (Pre-Treatment)

To ensure a smooth session and minimize the risk of bruising:

​

  • Avoid Alcohol: Skip alcoholic beverages for at least 24 hours before your appointment.

​

  • Clean Skin: Arrive with a completely clean face, free of makeup, lotions, or serums.

​​

  • Check Your Calendar: Schedule your treatment at least two weeks before any major event or trip to give your skin time to fully settle.

After Your Appointment (Post-Treatment)

To protect your skin and maximize your internal hydration:

​

  • The 24-Hour Rule: Avoid strenuous exercise, saunas, steam rooms, and alcohol for the first 24 hours.

​

  • Hands Off: Keep the area clean. Avoid touching your face or applying heavy makeup for the remainder of the day.

​

  • Normal Healing: Mild swelling, redness, or tiny bumps at the injection sites are completely normal and will subside naturally within a few days.
